Stine Seed #46 Car to Appear in Iowa Speedway Season Opener

ADEL, IOWA — April 18, 2008

The Clement Racing #46 Stine LibertyLink Soybeans Ford Fusion, driven by Matt Carter, is set to run an exciting race Saturday at the Iowa Speedway’s Prairie Meadows 250 presented by the Select Central Iowa Chevy Dealers.

The car is well-supported by Iowa companies, including primary sponsor, Stine Seed, Adel; and Iowa-connected co-sponsors, Fort Dodge Animal Health, Cookies Food Products and Iowa pork producers.

“We’re extremely proud to represent these great Iowa companies with national television exposure and an enthusiastic crowd at America’s newest and finest speedway,” says Clement.

“Racing is a new venue for Stine Seed,” says David Thompson, Stine Seed Director of Marketing. “The things that make auto racing so great – the passion, the excitement, the technology – are all things that have made us successful in the seed business.  The #46 team has had a long history of success, and we look forward to working with Clement

Racing to build our own winning legacy in the ARCA/ReMax series.”

Carter is no stranger to the Iowa Speedway, promising to make Saturday’s action fierce. In fact, Carter is the most recent race winner at the Iowa Speedway, walking away with a first-place finish in the Hooters® Pro Cup race in October.

In addition, Clement’s #46 car, then driven by Frank Kimmel, was the winner of the ARCA/ReMax Series Race at the Iowa Speedway in 2007.

Fans can expect Carter and the other the ARCA/ReMax drivers to hit a top speed of 160 miles per hour during the race.

“Even though the track drives like a super-speedway at seven-eights of a mile, it is classified as a short track,” Clement adds. “It’s actually the world’s fastest short track with several national and world speed records already set in its short existence.”

The Clement Racing #46 Stine LibertyLink Soybeans Ford Fusion is owned by Larry Clement, Fort Dodge, Iowa, with Carter’s father, Travis Carter – himself a former NASCAR champion crew chief and car owner.
