Stine Racing welcomes LibertyLink® Soybeans to ARCA Racing Program

ADEL, IOWA — April 9, 2008

Get ready for another exciting collaboration between Stine Seed Company and Bayer CropScience. Only this time it's not in the fields; it's on the racetrack!

To promote the collaborative efforts of Stine and Bayer CropScience to bring LibertyLink® soybeans to market in 2009, LibertyLink® soybeans will be featured prominently on the #46 car of Clement Racing at key races in the ARCA/ReMax series this season.

"We are extremely excited to have Stine LibertyLink® soybeans coming to market, and what better way to get the word out than through our racing program?" says David Thompson, Director of Marketing for Stine. "We've received an overwhelmingly positive response to both our LibertyLink® soybean collaboration and the sponsorship of the #46 Clement Racing Ford Fusion. With the combination of the two elements, soybean growers can look forward to an exciting year!"

LibertyLink® soybeans are being developed in high-yielding, strong-performing, elite germplasm that will be available from Stine Seed Company. This means growers can count on having access to varieties that have been adapted widely, and have demonstrated yield and agronomic performance as good as or better than the best available commercial checks.

"We are truly privileged to be in partnership with Stine, which provides the industry with genetics that are well-known and highly respected," says Andy Hurst, Bayer CropScience product manager for Liberty®, Ignite®, and Rely® herbicides and herbicide tolerant traits (HTT).

"The LibertyLink® technology will give soybean growers a new choice for managing their acres the way they want to, both now and in the future," he adds.

The #46 Stine LibertyLink® Soybeans Ford Fusion is owned by ARCA/REMAX series denizen, Larry Clement of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and is driven by Matt Carter.
