Stine Seed Company Sponsors Race Car in the ARCA/ReMax Race Series

ADEL, IOWA — March 6, 2008

Stine Seed Company announced today that it has entered into an agreement to sponsor the #46 Clement Racing Ford Fusion in the ARCA/ReMax race series for 2008. The car is owned by Larry Clement of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and will be driven by Matt Carter.

For Stine Seed Company, the sponsorship represents a whole new endeavor. Stine is a newcomer to the series and is making its first entry into motorsports.

"We at Stine Seed Company are very excited about this partnership," says David Thompson, Director of Marketing for Stine. "The things that make auto racing so great - the passion, the excitement, the technology - are all things that have made us successful in the seed business. The #46 team has had a long history of success, and we look forward to working with Clement Racing to build our own winning legacy in the ARCA/ReMax series."

Perhaps no other team in all of motorsports has been as successful as Clement Racing has in the ARCA series. The team has won the ARCA Points championship nine out the last 10 seasons, including a run of eight straight. Still, team owner Larry Clement says there is a lot to be excited about this season, with a new driver, new crew chief, and a new sponsor - Stine Seed.

"Our team is proud to be associated with a first-class agricultural company like Stine," says Clement. "Stine is recognized as a leader in its industry for its power and strength, and above all they are committed to excellence - which makes them a perfect fit for our team."

While he may be new to the ARCA series, driver Matt Carter is no stranger to racing. He is a veteran of the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR sanctioned late models and UARA. Matt's crew chief is his father Travis Carter, a renowned NASCAR crew chief and team owner.

Clement says his team and his driver are well-positioned for upcoming races in Salem, Indiana (April 13) and Newton, Iowa (April 19). In fact, Clement's team won the ARCA Race in Iowa in April 2007. Plus, as a competitor in the Hooters Pro Cup Series, Carter broke the track qualifying record at Salem on his way to a second-place finish. Then, at Newton, Carter drove a brilliant race on his way to a first-place finish.
